And we’re off! It’s been real Mykonos. We had the time of our lives, but it’s time to go. We met the most incredible people, saw the most beautiful beaches, ate at the best restaurants, watched the most breathtaking sunsets, and had some once in a lifetime experiences. Mykonos was exactly what we needed after the disaster we experienced in Athens. Don’t get me wrong, the city had an exciting and breathless energy and the acropolis was inspiring, but the nightmare of getting there left some of us with post traumatic stress disorder. A few days of sun and sand fixed that and now here we are. And we’ll be back one day, that I know. Mykonos hasn’t seen the last of me. But now we are off to Santorini to end this adventure with some much needed rest and relaxation. See you there.
